Imprensa de resistência na Biblioteca Nacional
memória política e novas leituras de um acervo
Abstract
This article summarizes a detailed analysis of 441 newspapers and magazines collection identifi ed as part of the resistance press to the Brazilian corporate-military regime (1964-1988), allocated in the Serial Publications Coordination of the Brazilian National Library. Little explored as a topic in the public debate that highlights the 60 years since the 1964 coup in Brazil and its following regime, the resistance press is, here, initially characterized as a whole, i. e., as a communication phenomenon divided into seven different phases in the context of the dictatorship. Following, the particularities of the related collection are exposed, proposing a broader and more up-to-date read on the formerly called “alternative press”.
