02. O Corpo Revoltado

Resumo

Este texto aborda questionamentos sobre o que é possível quando o corpo é ponto de partida e fio condutor de uma reflexão escrita. Discute-se ainda a dança que não apenas reproduz, mas resiste e produz pensamento. O texto tenta pensar o que é um corpo livre, crítico e inconformado com os mecanismos normativos de uma sociedade. Dance that does simply reproduce thought, but rather resists and produces thought is discussed. The text also tries to think what is a nonconformist, free body, one that would be critical regarding normative social mechanisms. Doutoranda em Artes Cênicas pela UNIRIO, formada em Dança Contemporânea pela Escola Angel Vianna. Co-fundadora do projeto universitário “Teatro nas Prisões”, tendo dedicado os últimos anos do projeto ao trabalho com mulheres encarceradas. Participou da fundação das companhias de dança: Lia Rodrigues; M.Groisman e Humas. Desde de 2003 tem se dedicado a trabalhos-solo, seguindo as temáticas: narrativa pessoal, gênero e revolta. Helena Vieira, a choreographer and performer, received her training in contemporary dance at the academy of Angel Vianna and is currently completing her Doctorate in Theatre Arts at UNIRIO. She is Co-founder of the university project "Theatre in Prisons", having spent the last years of the project working with incarcerated women. She participated in the founding of the dance companies of Lia Rodrigues, and of M. Groisman and Humas. Since 2003 she has devoted herself to solo work, with the following themes: personal narrative, gender, and rebellion.
