11. A Prática Extensionista na Formação do Professor: Reflexões, Indagações e Descobertas no Âmbito do Projeto “Ação Cultural em Teatro”.

Resumo

O presente trabalho se traduz na descrição e análise do projeto de extensão Ação Cultural em Teatro, o qual integra o desenvolvimento curricular do Curso de Licenciatura em Teatro da Universidade Federal do Maranhão / UFMA, como parte das atividades das disciplinas Prática de Extensão I e Prática de Extensão II, ofertadas no 5º e no 7º períodos. A proposta foi desenvolvida em diversos bairros da capital maranhense, em 2007, e conta com ações previstas para garantir sua permanência na trajetória curricular e na experiência institucional, envolvendo a parceria entre sujeitos – estudantes, professores, jovens e adultos provenientes de comunidades culturais e grupos artísticos –, instituições escolares, entidades informais e outras que se propõem à lida com arte e cultura. Palavras-chave | pedagogia do teatro | teatro em comunidades | formação de professores | ação cultural em teatro | arte-educação Abstract The present work translates the description and analysis of the extension project called Cultural Action in Theater which integrates the curricular development of the Course in Theater of the Federal University of Maranhão / UFMA, as part of the activities of the subjects Practice of Extension I and Practice of Extension II, presented in the 5th and 7th periods. The proposal was developed in different neighborhoods of the capital of Maranhão, in 2007, and it counts with preliminary actions to guarantee its permanence in the curricular course and in the institutional experience, involving the partnership among subject – students, teachers, youths and adults originating from cultural communities and artistic groups –, school institutions, informal entities and others that intend to work with art and culture. Licenciado em Desenho e Plásticas pela Universidade de Brasília (1979), Mestre em Educação pela Universidade de Brasília (1983) e Doutor em Artes pela Universidade de São Paulo (2000), com concentração de estudos em Teatro e Educação. Tem experiência e desenvolve pesquisa nas áreas de ensino da arte, formação de professores e pedagogia do teatro. Em 2006 recebeu o título de Cidadão de São Luís (MA), pela contribuição na área de cultura e teatro. ARÃO PARANAGUÁ DE SANTANA, PhD is an Arts teacher at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) and correspondence course in Theater Coordinator. He is licensed to teach Design and Plastic Arts by the University of Brasília (UNB) (1979), has a Master’s Degree in Education from UNB (1983) and a Doctorate in Arts from the University of São Paulo (USP) (2000), concentrating his studies on Theater and Education. Arão has experience and conducts research in the fields of arts teaching, teacher training and theater pedagogy. In 2006, he received the title of Citizen of São Luís (MA), for his contribution in the fields of culture and theater.
