Abstract

In this article we intend to make some observations about love, from the psychoanalytical referential, since its entry in the twelfth century as courteous love, passing through the idea of romantic love from the Freudian era, reaching our days as liquid love. Our goal is to think love as an event linked to desire, offering psychoanalysis as one of the most powerful tools that enables and sustains this act for every subject who can venture into it.
