Paul Valery, voice, object a, unary traitAbstract
The present article brings initially a dialog between the concepts of significant, object a, unary trait, from the Lacanian psychoanalysis, and the formulations about the voice in the work of the French poet Paul Valéry. Having as a starting point an interpretation of the poem Psalm on a voice (Psalme sur une voix, in the original), we will observe how the knowledge of the poet about the unconscious and the language can be an important source for the psychoanalytical field, bringing reflections on the ambiguity of the voice, the singularity of the subjects and the not-whole character of the language.
