Abstract

The social transformations that have occurred in recent times have been significantly altering the way in which the subject recognizes himself in social discourse, which, to a certain extent, has been causing a mismatch between the expectations of the contemporary world and the conditions of legitimacy of the dignified word, forged by the truth expressed in the structuring of the individual. We present here a brief study on the power of the word, which constitutes one of the most relevant aspects of the psychoanalytic clinic, whether from the analyst's point of view, illustrated here by the concept of acting out, or from the perspective of the analysand through the construction of a narrative that the free from the trauma of non-symbolization that interferes with its mode of existence.
