Use of Taurolidine Citrate Blocking Solution - TauroLock: bibliometric aspects

Objective: to analyze the intellectual production on the use of Taurolidina citrate blocking solution - TauroLock, available on the Scopus database. Method: bibliometric study that addressed the production electronically recorded in database, from 1980 to 2022, with descriptive statistical analysis. Results: 241 documents were recovered, published in 150 sources. The average authorship per article was 0.24. Nursing contributed with 22 documents (9.12%). Conclusion: the data presented demonstrate the low level of interest of the scientific community in the subject. It was not possible to identify an Elite Authors group. The study shows that there is dispersion in the production of periodicals. The quantitative contribution of nursing is insignificant when compared to medicine 195 (80.91%).
