Do sintoma ao sinthome: suas implicações para a psicopatologia psicanalítica

Abstract

From de articulation of Sigmund Freud’s theory and Jacques Lacan’s teaching, we will bring some considerations about the concept of symptom in the psychoanalytic clinic and the modifications produced in the Lacan’s last teaching from the perspective of the Borromean knot, renaming it “sinthome”. We will unfold our investigation in understanding of the change that this concept has brought to psychoanalytic psychopathology and, consequently, to the direction of treatment and to the end of analysis.
