Abstract

Environmental problems challenge current generations to find sustainable solutions for maintaining life on the planet, creating the need to expand research on the environmental theme in education. The objective of this study is to present a reflection on the perspectives and relevance of the school garden for the development of Environmental Education in the formation of conscious children and adults. Its methodology is bibliographic research, highlighting studies of authors who work at the interface between education and environment in legislation and Agenda 2030.  The results show the relevance of the school garden for the development of environmental education in schools from the methodology of projects.
