Abstract

This article proposes a discussion on the production of sensations in the performance actions of Rodrigo Braga, reflecting on how his work can contribute to thinking about acting practices in the field of the live art. From a return on the works Fantasia da Compensação (2004), Comunhão (2006), Da alegoria perecível (2006), Tônus (2012), Tombo (2015) and Mar Interior (2016), we searched for points of experimentation with the concepts of event and territory to weave a theoretical speculation about their performances regarding the problem of representation from the perspective of a poetics of contemporary performance. The images discussed here permeate the notion of fabulation through ways of becoming another in which the monuments of sensations of the event cross as they carnify.
