O FEMININO EM TONS DE CIANO: UMA OFICINA DE REVELAÇÃO EM CIANOTIPIA

Abstract

This experience report focuses on a cyanotype workshop whose objective was to rescue the alternative technique of photographic development through cyanotype, so that the technique was intertwined with its application within the theme of the feminine. The search was to relate in a poetic way the theme used with the revelation technique, in order to build critical and aesthetic cooperation between these two areas. The project focused on a female audience in the academic community, people who were artists, interested in photography and alternative development techniques. The project was carried out using a theoretical and practical method, interspersing theoretical explanation with experimentation and exercises, so that there was a better understanding and the participants could apply what was taught in their productions. The entire project took place in the city of Caruaru - PE, over a period of six months, counting from its preparation, organization, execution and action to promote results. Furthermore, there was a partnership with the Laboratório de Fotografia do Agreste (Fotolab), where the workshop was held. At the end of the project, the project included an exhibition open to the public, which was intended to show the results of what was produced throughout the workshop and provoke viewers about the themes covered in the productions. The project was also supported by the Bolsa de Incentivo à Criação Cultural (BICC) from the Pró-reitoria de Extensão e Cultura (ProExc) of the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
