Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it should be justified in "Comments to the editor".

  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or LibreOffice format (doc, docx or odt).

  •  URLs for referrals were reported when possible.

  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, on the About Journal page.

  • In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (eg articles), the instructions available under Ensuring blind peer evaluation were followed.

Author Guidelines

Originals submitted must follow the guidelinesbelow:

• ID ORCID indication;
• Be typed in the text processor Word orLibreOffice (doc, docx or odt);
• The paper should present top and left margin of3cm and bottom and right of 2 cm;
• The paper should present 1,5 cm spacing betweenrows. Long quotations, with three lines or more, notes, references and summary in the vernacularor foreign language must be typed in simplespacing;
• the text indent of the first line of each paragraphshould be of 1 cm;
• The text should be typed in Times New Roman, in black, size 12. For long quotations andfootnotes, size 10. For long quotations the textindent must be of 4 cm from the left margin;
• The paper must contain title (in Portuguese andin English), with only the first letter in capital, inbold font and centered, size 12, in Palatino orPalatino Linotype font, summary (in Portugueseand in English), in a single paragraph containinga maximum of 800 characters, including spaces, and three to five keywords, separated bysemicolon. Foreign words must be typed in italictype.
• The identification of the author should not appearin the file sent, not even in the name of the file saved (in file properties);
• The text must be typed in justified alignment, except the title.
