Abstract

 The article deals with the theory of tax justice in conjunction with the theme of public policies and aims to survey some important contributions to the theoretical debate on the theme, in a contribution to a critical reflection on current tax policy and the effectiveness of  the fundamental rights. The method used, in the case of theoretical-philosophical work, involves bibliographic research, content analysis of authors' thoughts, seeking the construction of philosophical arguments that illuminate how a search for development would lead to the choice of certain public policies and a fairer tax policy.
