Abstract

Objective: to identify in the scientific literature the types of events supposedly attributable and their factors associated with and related to vaccination against Covid-19 in adults and elderly people in Brazil. Method: scoping review, carried out from June to August 2023; Primary studies were selected, available in full, published from January 2021 to August 2023, in Portuguese, English or Spanish, in the following databases: Embase, Pubmed, Scopus and VHL. Results: 14 articles made up the final sample; It was demonstrated that the occurrence of events supposedly attributable to vaccination or immunization is frequent, mostly non-serious adverse events, however, serious adverse events have also been reported, such as thrombosis of the central nervous system, convulsions, dyspnea, facial paralysis and deaths. Conclusions: The predominance of cases reported in the studies were related to the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and occurred mainly in women, aged 30 to 50 years.
