Abstract

This study has the object, articles published by nurses on home care. Thus the objectives outlined are: lift articles published by nurses on issues home care in national journals and analyze the main aspects discussed in the article about the nursing home care. This is a literature search, with a qualitative approach and descriptive exploratory nature. A survey of 21 articles by BIREME site, where we used the databases LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE, ADOLEC, being descriptors listed as: home care, nursing. It was observed that the customers feel happy to have their treatment done in the warmth of home, with the presence and participation of their relatives who are the main caregivers. In hospital management noted the importance of emphasizing that the inclusion of such assistance was a reduction in hospital costs by reducing the length of hospital stay and providing a greater number of beds to meet demand. It was concluded that among the most discussed, is added to the importance of performing a quality care, humanized that offer a positive influence in the therapeutic state of the client.
