Abstract

Objective: to identify the sociodemographic factors associated with the mode of delivery. Methods: this is a systematic review with a search in the Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences, PubMed and Cochrane databases in May 2021. The study protocol was registered with PROSPERO under number CRD42021257340. The selected articles were analyzed by the Joanna Briggs Institute and the Grading System of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation systems. Results: women with a higher socioeconomic level, higher education, aged over 35 years and private institutions have a greater chance of having a cesarean section compared to the vaginal level. The quality of quality of quality for the service provider variable was low and the quality of maternal schooling is low and the quality of economic class is high. Sociodemographic conclusions in the literature.

Fernanda Garcia Gabira, Federal University of Espirito Santo

Graduated in Nursing and Obstetrics from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2016).
Master in Public Health by the Graduate Program in Public Health at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2019).
Doctoral student in Collective Health with emphasis in Epidemiology also at the Federal University of Espírito Santo.
Specialist in Nursing in Gynecology and Obstetrics (2020).
She was a researcher at the Longitudinal Study of Adult Health (ELSA) at the Espírito Santo Research Center, linked to the Postgraduate Program in Cardiovascular Physiology at UFES.
It develops its activities in the field of public health with a focus on epidemiological scenarios, social epidemiology, determinants in health and women's health with a focus on obstetrics.

Graduated in Speech Therapy from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2014)

Possui graduação em Enfermagem pelo Instituto Adventista de Ensino (1976), mestrado em Enfermagem pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1990), doutorado em Enfermagem pela Universidade de São Paulo (1998) e pos doutorado em epidemiologia pela Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (2012). Atualmente é Professora titular da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Tem experiência na área de Enfermagem, atuando no ensino da Graduação, nos campos teórico e clínico. Elaborou projetos pedagógicos com modalidades de ensino diversificadas, para diversas faculdades. Atuou como coordenadora de curso em diferentes instituições inclusive na UFES. Acumula experiência de Coordenação de Curso e Chefe do Departamento em enfermagem do CCS da UFES. Avaliadora Institucional, modalidade EAD e de cursos do INEP. Avaliadora do sistema Arco Sur para acreditação do curso de Enfermagem nos países da América do Sul. Presidente da Comissão Permanente de Avaliação Docente do Centro de Cências da Saúde da UFES. É professora do Programa de Pós-graduação em Atenção à Saúde Coletiva da UFES, trabalhando na orientação e desenvolvimento de estudos nas áreas temáticas das Doenças crônicas não-transmissíveis (diabetes e hipertensão) e de Estilo e Qualidade de vida. É coordenadora do Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa sobre Estilo e Qualidade de Vida da UFES. Pesquisadora do projeto ELSA-Estudo Longitudinal em Saúde do Adulto, atua como supervisora de desfecho do Espírito Santo. Coordenadora do Estudo Erica no Estado do Espírito Santo. Coordenadora do Estudo cardiovascular em Adventista-ADVENTO.
