Redistribution of powers in the social space of the Nursing School Alfredo Pinto enunciation the discourse of Student Directory (1955)

Abstract

Objectives: To describe the emergence of the first institucional structure of representation of students in the social space of the school of nursing and to analyze the relative strengths of the director of SNDM, Jurandyr Manfredini, the director Maria de Castro Pamphiro. Method: the study of historical and social nature, was based on the thought of Pierre Bourdieu and document analysis. The documentary election has done through the documents confrontation found with the historical production. The sources were the minutes, ordinances, laws, reports, and two interviews. The analysis and interpretation of data were developed by means of elucidations of links and connections between information in the documents and triangulation with the production of knowledge in the history of Brazil and nursing. Results and Conclusions: showed that the students had obtaned according to their interests and strategies to win a symbolic power to do see end believe, to confirm, to mobilize, to transform the worldview and social order within and outside the social space of the school.
