The awakening of the nurse in relation to patients with hearing loss

Objective: to identify the problems experienced by people with hearing problems in health services and the importance of nurses' communication with deaf patients interfere with the quality of care. Methods: this is a literature, descriptive, qualitative approach, exploratory, held at the Biblioteca Virtual de Saude (LILACS and BDENF). After data collection was conducted exploratory reading, selective, critical and thematic analysis. Results: emerging the following categories: Identify problems experienced by people with hearing problems in health services and the importance of communicating the Nurses with deaf patients interfere with the quality of care. Conclusion: we conclude that communication is essential to put a satisfactory comprehensive care and positive, which requires a greater inclination, interest and understanding of the nurse in deaf patients.Downloads
