The benefits of preoperative visit nursing to surgical pacients: a systematic review of literature

This study aims to identify the benefits of preoperative evaluation of nursing for the customer who will undergo surgery. This is an exploratory research with a qualitative approach, literature, accomplished through a systematic review of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) in the databases LILACS and BDENF, where 11 were selected bibliographies potential after pre-reading and selective reading, there was still reading and interpretative thematic analysis. Results: Two categories emerged, the benefits seen preoperative nursing care and preoperative nursing the surgical patient. We conclude that the preoperative visit is important and involves the mutual influences and the process of communication and trust between nurse and patient, and help in adapting the surgery patients to the hospital environment, easing their fears and anxieties by making the same accepted best and face the problem, providing a smooth surgery and a good recovery.Downloads
