Abstract

Objective: to analyze the evidence of the content validity of a nursing care manual on transfusion reactions. Methodology: methodological study conducted in two stages: development of the manual based on a review of the scope and validation of the content by 15 specialist nurses. The evaluation used the Content Validity Ratio, adopting a cutoff value of 0.60 for item acceptance. Results: the manual covered conceptual aspects, classification of transfusion reactions, nursing care, preventive strategies, clinical case study, and evaluation questions. All items evaluated obtained a positive score (>0.60), showing agreement among the specialists and confirming the validity of the content. Conclusion: the educational manual is validated in terms of content, demonstrating clarity, relevance, and pertinence of information, highlighting its potential as a tool for the recognition, prevention, and management of transfusion reactions.
