Objetive: describe and analyze the impact of these groups through the interview with the relatives carers. Methods: also the instrument to evaluate the self – care named ASA-A scale, used in 20 elders participant. Out of the total elders, 10, present a score considered high for the self-care scale, between 95 and 114 points. Results: The carers report that they perceived changes in their elder after the participation in the choir group. The elders, experimented positive shifts in their vitality, obtaining personal resources to face conflict situations daily. Besides that, the music improves memory, brings physical and mood benefits and consequently the self-care. Conclusion: the conclusion is that, the participation of the elder in music groups must be stimulated, because propitiates good feelings transmition and still, acts in a therapeutic manner for disease recovery.Downloads
